Charlotte Francis

Charlotte Francis is a copywriter and freelance journalist currently based in Melbourne.

I have always been passionate about the written and spoken word. My career has spanned international publishing, journalism, voice-over work, fundraising and marketing.

With a degree in Modern Languages (Spanish and German) from Bristol University (UK), I started my career in international publishing and travelled to Europe and the US selling rights and permissions in illustrated books.

I have also worked for a number of not-for-profit and environmental organisations in the UK and Australia, producing content for direct mail letters, brochures, websites, funding proposals and reports, print adverts and newsletters.

Clients include UK Wildlife Trusts, Forum for the Future, Bush Heritage Australia, Kids Under Cover, Melbourne Cares, The Melbourne Prize Trust, Taralye, the Victorian National Parks Association, Calvary Health Care Bethlehem, Earthwatch Australia and Benetas.

With a special interest in the arts, environment and spirituality, my travel and lifestyle features have been published in newspapers and magazines in Australia, the UK, Hong Kong, Canada and the USA.
